Ramdas Athawale threatened to sue the producers of Bigg Boss 2
Republican Party of India (Athawale) President Ramdas Athawale has threatened to move court alleging that he was dropped from the reality show ‘Big Boss-Season 2′ aired on Colors channel as he was a Dalit.
Athawale told reporters his name was finalised by the newly-launched channel and after confirming his participation in the show he was dropped allegedly because he was a Dalit. Athawale has threatened to sue the producers of the popular TV show Big Boss for dropping him out of the show.
“This act of the channel is defamatory and hence we are contemplating action against the channel. We will move the court in the next couple of days,†Athawale said. The channel had taken his consent in writing on July 15 and asked him to remain free for a few days starting from August 16.
