Bigg Boss 2 : Shilpa Shetty has lashed out

Shilpa is hosting Big Boss giving her more TV presence than any other star could muster right now and people are enjoying the way she is hosting the game show.

This time has been really tough on actress Shilpa Shetty, First Jade Goody’s traumatic adieu and then item girl Rakhi Sawant’s allegation that a contestant on the show has been changed because of her manoeuvres.

First came in the open Rakhi Sawant who accused that Shilpa Shetty had replaced some actor (read Rakhi Sawant) who was originally selected to be in the show with some one of her own choice.

When questioned about Rakhi’s allegation, Shilpa said: “I don’t even want to talk about her. But I was very hurt. I really like Rakhi. Why was she talking this way about me without knowing the facts? How does she know the facts about how contestants were chosen?

“I don’t think it’s right for anyone to shoot off her mouth in this way. You may have an outspoken image that you’re always eager to uphold. But please don’t flaunt that image at my cost.”
Later came accusation that she was anti-Dalit as she had denied Ramdas Athavle a place in the hotly popular show.

Upset at the sudden turn of events after RPI President and MP Ramdas Athawale was not allowed from participating in Bigg Boss 2, Shilpa Shetty has lashed out at her detractors. The supporters of the Dalit leader had burnt effigies of the actress blaming her for his ouster.

Shilpa Shetty reacting to it all said, “How can they hold me responsible for his non inclusion in the show? I didn’t even know he was being considered to be a part of the show! Don’t they understand that I am just a host of the show? Apart from hosting it nothing related to the show is of any concern. These guys are trying to grab publicity and mileage using my name and politicizing the issue.”

    this is totally nonsense, as in the front of camera you are able to see that the are making groups and nominating a person which is not correct. if you are going for the trps then their is no reality in the show.

    can u pls change the timings of bigg boss to either 8pm or 9pm as its very difficult to watch late night shows for working people.The TRP’S are bound to increase if timings are changed.

    The host of the show should not be S Shilpa, because she laughs too much and smiles even when she has to announce name of the
    looser, it looks like she is making a joke out of their going out. the next time , have someone who can amile and make fun, but also act
    responsible and hurt, who is serious like Javed Jaffery to do that.
