Rahul Mahajan (born 1974) son of the late Indian politician, Pramod Mahajan.Rahul Mahajan came into the news when his father was shot by his own brother and struggled for his life for twelve days before succumbing. Exactly a month after his father’s death on June 3, 2006, Mahajan was hospitalized after an alleged cocaine overdose. His father’s secretary, Bibek Maitra was also rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. The two had imbibed a cocktail of drugs along with champagne. Mahajan recovered, but on his discharge from hospital on June 6 2006, he was arrested by the Delhi Police on charges of drug possession and consumption. |
| The case has become more complex because there are several different versions of what happened that night, and the fact that Apollo Hospital, where the two were admitted, said in a press conference that Rahul Mahajan’s toxin screens were negative for all known drug types. An independent testing of Mahajan’s blood has yielded different results, with high quantities of opiates detected in his blood sample. Apollo hospital has since changed their answer, saying that traces of barbiturates and opiates were found in his bloodstream. The forensics lab, after examining Mahajan’s gastric lavage, has declared that heroin had been consumed, probably after mistaking it to be cocaine.
In July 2006, he got engaged to Shweta Singh-Mahajan someone who he has known for 13 years. They were in flying school together in the US, and also flew for the Indian airline Jet Airways. This engagement is a little controversial in its timing, with people wondering why it was so sudden. The wedding took place on August 29 at ‘Blue Sea’, a marriage hall at Worli sea face in Central Mumbai near the Mahajan residence. The marriage was reportedly on rocks for sometime with serious allegation of beating that Rahul meted out to his new wife. Shweta Mahajan filed for divorce on 13-Dec-2007. Shweta has filed for divorce on grounds of incompatibility and mutual consent of both parties. On August 1, 2008, Rahul Mahajan and his wife Shweta were granted a divorce by a Gurgaon court. Sorry guys, I am of Rahul hate club. If you think he is very sweat, look how he treats Payal. How he wants to maintain a distance and not accept relationship. Eating kheer from her katori and still trying to get a good TRP shot. He should help Monica to work on her image and get a clean slate rather then making her a gossip material again, if he is a good friend as he says.
Also what about possible Sambhavna-Julfi affair thing he tried to start, yeah mr clean and mr sweat heart?
He is all about getting sympathy, does Rakhi ever mention that she got out of a bad divorce recently (although she cried a lot), a marriage she put her career on hold for.

I really watch Bigg Boss because of Rahul……The day when Rahul will leave the house, I will not watch this show anymore…..And there may have been thousands of people like me…….Because he is really an innocent peroson…..And I hate Raja because he is dam *****……When Raja was outside, he watched both Rahul and Sambhavana……Rahul did say some good things about Raja…But Raja is instigating everyone against him……And Raja also saw Sambhavana showing middle finger to him….. What happened today is wrong. Rahul and
Payal got 4 votes and they should have
been nominated. Raja got 3 votes, and
there was no need for 3rd nomination.
3rd nomination comes when there is a tie
at second position and not first
position. This is wrong. first two
should be nominated. This is technically
wrong, and you have to reverse it.
Raja was NEVER nominated out by the public, but he and the housemates are NOT yet told about it. Result - Raja thinks he was not liked by public and was thrown out, housemates hate him thinking they and public threw him out and now with wild card he is back, hence everyone is against him. the truth is, he is not in due to wild card but he deserves it. But BB does not want them to know the truth as Raja is the only genuine guy who can beat rahul. but BB have eaten money to make Rahul win, and show footage only in favour of him, also using money and voting power to make him with when ever he gets nominated.
There is no more fun in it. BB should have told the truth about Raja’s eviction to all atleast to him.
Can anybody here tell me just one thing….HOW MUCH MONEY RAHUL HAS PAID TO KEEP HIMSELF AND HIS S*X SECRETARY AFLOAT IN THE SHOW??? Why this question???? we’ve been watching this show since day1…..though we didn like few episodes as they were too dramatic( Sambhawana was b**ch)…..but what happened yesternight?? Rahul and Payal got 4 votes so they should have been nominated. Raja got 3 votes (normally only two persons are nominated) so there was absolutely no reason to nominate him……….Had it been a drama……like the raja’s eviction and re-entry last week…….Big Boss should have cleared it in advance that this week Big Boss will nominate three persons, as he did last week…………….we are not fools………either this should be clear from Big Boss or we’ll think that Rahul Mahajan has given bribe to let him and his cheap ‘nautanki’ secretary Payal to stay in Big boss because if they wud have been nominated one wud have to leave the house……….we are realy upset with this show now…

Earlier I thought that Rahul was just a sissy who took shit from everbody. But he’s actually a despicable hypocrite. Monica was right in telling him that he should have stood up for Payal instead of Raja.
